Aluminum pocket tool
Tired of looking for the proper tools to remove the forend and barrel from your Encore or Contender frame when you're in the field? This handy pocket tool may be your solution. One end is made to use as a punch to remove the hinge pin, the other for removing the forend screws. Knurled center section for easy grip. Available in Aluminum or synthetic body. Both contain steel allen head for durability.

Note - Factory slot head forend screws used in both the Encore and Contender forends must be replaced with proper size allen head screws. Allen head screws are much more druable and easy to work with than slot head screws. 2 allen screws are provided with each tool.  As many additional allen head screws as you may need to convert all of your factory Encore forends from the factory slot head screws may be pruchased seperately whether or not you purchase a pocket tool. Specify Encore or Contender when ordering. In addition, if you have a custom forend made by Virgin Valley or any other maker that already utilizes "cap" head screws with a 1/8" hex key in lieu of factory screws please note that in your order.
