Thompson/Center, for some reason, has stopped installing the trigger over travel screws in both the newer Encore and G2 Contender frames. This may not be a big deal to some shooters but for others the lack of this trigger backlash screw will be missed. The trigger pull feels much more crisp and precise if the trigger stops right after the hammer is released rather than going all the way back to the trigger guard. If you have a newer Encore or G2 frame lacking the over travel screw and would like to have one installed I can take care of the installation for you.
Important Note: Having the over travel screw installed isn't something you can order soley from this web site. I will obviously need to have you send me the trigger guard from your frame to do the job. If you don't feel comfortable in removing and reassembling the trigger guard you can send in the entire frame and I will take care of it for you.
