Encore Rimfire Firing Pin Conversions
Sc Encore rimfire firing pin conversions are the most reliable, rugged & simple conversion I've seen.  No easily broken or bent parts to worry about.  When installed, the pin fires the cartridge in the 6 o'clock position giving the best powder burn possible.  To install, simply loosen the factory center fire breech plug assembly, insert the Sc rimfire breech plug assembly in its place and retighten the screw.  The entire process takes less than a minute after you've done it a couple of times.



NOTE - As you probably already know, Thompson/Center does not manufacture rimfire barrels for Encore.  However, any of the custom barrel makers out there can, or already do, offer custom barrels for the Encore in various rimfire chamberings.  If they don't already offer my rimfire conversion with the barrel I'll be happy to suply it to your directly.
